The Council of Rectors informed the Higher Education Division of the Ministry of Education that students at traditional universities receive approximately 130,000 food and living allowance scholarships. The rectors met with representatives of the Confederation of Chilean Students (CONFECH) to analyze the situation and explore ways to extend the provision of these scholarships.
