On October 16th, a seminar will be held at the Federico Santa María Technical University to present the 2025 results and address the challenges of the training experience.

The ENCE 2026 application process began in September and will run until December, with the participation of 24 CRUCH universities.

The National Student Engagement Survey (ENCE) is celebrating its tenth anniversary since its first administration in Chile. During this period, the project has established itself as a collaborative initiative that allows researchers to understand the experiences of undergraduate students and generate information to strengthen their educational process.

The project coordinator, Gonzalo Zapata, emphasized that this decade of work has allowed progress both in generating and utilizing evidence. “Over these years, we have learned not only to collect valuable information about what students do and experience during their training, but especially to use that evidence for management and continuous improvement, sharing lessons learned and benchmarks for comparison between institutions,” he noted.

Zapata added that “the voice of students is a fundamental source for improving the quality of education. Their responses allow us to understand how they learn, how they participate, and what opportunities they find in their university experience, and they provide institutions with evidence to improve teaching, support, and educational pathways.”.

The instrument for 2026 is being administered between September and December to first- and fourth-year undergraduate students. Each of the 24 participating universities organizes the process and provides the necessary information to those who have been invited.

The application of the instrument corresponding to 2026 began in September and will extend until December, with the participation of first and fourth year undergraduate students, in the 24 universities participating in the project.

ENCE 2026 Campaign and Seminar

As part of this anniversary, CRUCH is promoting on its social media the “Did you know…?” campaign”, based on ENCE 2025 results. Its contents address different dimensions of the university experience, such as participation in classes, interaction with teachers, high-impact training practices and institutional support.

The commemoration will include the ENCE Seminar 2026, The event will take place on Friday, October 16th at the main building of the Federico Santa María Technical University in Valparaíso. The day will present the 2025 results and address the challenges of moving from effective teaching to more active learning experiences, expanding access to high-impact training practices, and supporting student pathways.
