CRUCH Internationalization Commission elected a new board

On Friday, March 24, 2023, the first ordinary session of the Internationalization Commission of the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities, CRUCH, was held online. This body was chaired during the last year by the Director of Institutional Relations of the Catholic University of the Most Holy Conception, Mr. Steve Baeza Abadie, and the Director of International Relations of the University of O'Higgins, Ms. Carla Gutierrez, as Vice President.

The event, held via Zoom, began with a welcome address from Mr. Baeza and a brief overview of the actions undertaken during his year as head of the Commission. "The CRUCH Internationalization Commission has strengthened its cooperative ties among all its member universities, and we must continue to strive to strengthen the human relationships within it," explained President Mr. Baeza.

The meeting continued with an analysis of the main projects and the presentation of national and international organizations linked to the work of the Commission.

Finally, the election of the new board of directors of the Commission, which will govern the year 2023, was carried out, being made up of Marcos Avilés (University of Talca), in the Presidency, and Rosario Diaz (University of the Andes), as Vice President.
