goals
To train specialists with a master's degree, capable of generating, directing and/or coordinating interdisciplinary teams oriented towards the development of complex projects of creation, technology and social innovation in the area of Design, applying project methodologies and with a strategic and prospective vision, that contribute to the sustainable development of the country and social equity.
Applicant Profile
Hold an Academic Degree of Bachelor or Professional Title from a career of at least 8 semesters, in areas of design, architecture, engineering, applied arts careers or related careers, belonging to a higher education institution recognized by the State.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master's Program in Design, Technology, and Social Innovation at UTEM are capable of generating, leading, and/or coordinating interdisciplinary teams focused on developing complex projects in design, technology, and social innovation. They apply design methodologies with a strategic and forward-looking vision, contributing to the country's sustainable development and social equity. Furthermore, they are skilled in developing and communicating their creative proposals for public and private funding opportunities. They demonstrate specialized theoretical and practical knowledge in their discipline, applying it to the development areas of Technology and Sustainability in Design; Language and Communication in Design; and Management and Innovation in Design. Graduates have acquired the necessary competencies to work autonomously and with an interdisciplinary foundation in project strategy and social innovation within government agencies and public services; in the private sector; in civil society organizations; and in their own ventures through individual initiatives.
