goals
General objective: to train graduates in the fields of Operations Management and Organizational Management capable of producing scientific and technological research relevant to the discipline of Industrial Engineering, with respect for people and the environment.
The specific objectives of the program are:
a) To provide its students with advanced knowledge, theories, methodologies and specific tools for the diagnosis of Industrial Engineering problems, as well as for the design and management of efficient solutions for them, in the areas of Operations Management and Organization Management.
b) To contribute to the solution of problems specific to Industrial Engineering, relevant to the areas of Operations Management and Organization Management, through scientific and technological research.
c) Disseminate the knowledge generated as a result of the Program's activities and its impact on the discipline of Industrial Engineering, through relevant scientific publications at the national and international level.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and/or a Professional Title as a Civil Engineer, or equivalent training related to the field of Industrial Engineering. In all cases, the Program Committee will review the applicant's academic qualifications.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master of Science in Engineering program, specializing in Industrial Engineering, will be able to (Annex 2):
a) Diagnose problems in Industrial Engineering, in the areas of Operations Management and Organizational Management.
b) Design technically and culturally feasible, economically efficient and environmentally sustainable solutions in the fields of Operations Management and Organizational Management.
c) Manage the development of scientific and technological research to efficiently solve problems in Industrial Engineering, in the areas of Operations Management and Organization Management.
d) To disseminate professionally, technically and scientifically, the actions and results obtained from scientific and technological research through relevant means of dissemination at the national and international level
