goals

The overall objective of the Program is to train professionals
leaders in the development of environmental management systems in public organizations and
private entities, at different scales and with different objectives, within a framework of social responsibility and
environmental.
3. The specific objectives of the Program are:
a) Develop solutions to environmental problems or
environmental management in public and private organizations.
b) Apply environmental management tools in different areas
of public and private organizations, within a framework of social responsibility and
environmental.

c) Develop environmental management tools that
promote the sustainable production of goods and services, in the public and
private.
d) To promote applied research in the area of management
environmental impact on the procedures and production processes of goods and services.

Applicant Profile

To enter the Program, applicants must be
holding a Bachelor's Degree or a Professional Title whose level and
study content be equivalent to that of a Bachelor's Degree with at least 8
semesters in duration and at the discretion of the Master's Program Committee (CPM)
corresponds to an education equivalent to that of a Bachelor's degree, issued by a
Chilean or foreign university. However, additional requirements may be required.

Graduate profile

a) Analyze and develop solutions to associated problems
with environmental management, considering technical elements in an integrated manner,
legal-legislative, economic, social and productive aspects with the purpose of resolving,
to mitigate and prevent human activities from being oriented towards development
sustainable.
b) Evaluate the impact of the systems' activities
productive on the environment, in order to achieve and maintain a
environmental behavior in accordance with its goals and legal and environmental requirements,
social and economic.
c) Develop environmental management systems in organizations
public and private, productive and/or service-oriented, in order to achieve a balance
sustainable between population development, economic growth, and protection
and conservation of the environment.
