goals

To train Psychologists and Medical Surgeons in the development of clinical skills, in the updating of theoretical approaches and in the development of research skills in the field of child and adolescent clinical psychology.

Applicant Profile

Applicants to the Master's Program must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, a Professional Title of Psychologist, a Professional Title of Medical Doctor, or a Specialist Title in Psychiatry. The Bachelor's Degree or Professional Title must be of a level, content, and duration equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree at the University of Chile, as determined by the Academic Committee. Applicants must also submit a preliminary research proposal aligned with one of the program's research areas.

Graduate profile

Upon completion of the training process, graduates of the Program will have acquired:

1.- Clinical skills in a theoretical professional line that allow you to generate comprehensive approaches and intervention strategies in child and adolescent clinical psychology.
2.- Knowledge of the conceptual foundations of child and adolescent clinical psychology from different theoretical perspectives.
3.- Research skills that allow you to generate and implement methodological designs in topics related to child and adolescent clinical psychology.
