goals
To provide studies in the fields of epistemology and research methodologies in Community Psychology. The aims are summarized as developing research skills and generating capacities for design, action strategies, and evaluation from perspectives relevant to the community setting and social programs and projects.
Applicant Profile
Applicants to the Master's Program in Psychology with a specialization in Community Psychology may be individuals who hold a Bachelor's degree and/or professional title in Psychology, careers in the area of Health and/or Social Sciences and Humanities, or in related disciplinary fields, conferred by national or foreign universities, provided that it is equivalent to the Bachelor's degree granted by the University of Chile.
Graduate profile
It is expected that the graduate of the Master's program, upon completion of the training process, will acquire:
1. Theoretical knowledge about the foundations of Community Psychology
2. Competencies for research in the area and for professional practice, being able to address the design, action strategies and evaluation of social projects and programs from a community approach
3. Critical thinking in relation to the political and social context of the country.
