goals
To train graduates capable of developing basic and applied social research processes in the field of Sociocultural Anthropology that enables them to carry out detailed and comprehensive analyses of the links between the sociocultural order and its transformation processes, as well as to identify, describe and explain public problems of a social and/or cultural nature that arise in contemporary social life, in order to support informed decision-making in the field of social and public action.
Applicant Profile
National and foreign candidates who hold a Bachelor's Degree or Professional Title whose level, content and duration is equivalent to the Bachelor's Degree training of the University of Chile, in Anthropology, Social Sciences and/or Humanities.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master's Program in Cultural Anthropology will be able to develop basic and applied social research activities and processes in the field of Sociocultural Anthropology, enabling them to conduct detailed and comprehensive analyses of the links between the sociocultural order and its transformation processes, as well as identify, describe, and explain public problems of a social and/or cultural nature that arise in contemporary social life, in order to support informed decision-making in the field of social and public action.
