goals
The Program's fundamental objectives are to provide:
1.- A systematic academic training of a high level in the disciplines and contents of the field of Medical Informatics, both in the area of Information Management and in the area of Computerized Diagnosis and Treatment.
2.- The methodologies and scientific knowledge so that the graduate can perform in higher education teaching and research or in management and executive functions related to health.
Applicant Profile
Hold a Bachelor's degree or a professional title whose level, content, and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of a Bachelor's degree from the University of Chile, as determined by the Academic Committee. (Health Professionals; Computer Engineers; Biomedical Engineers; Mathematicians; Statisticians and Physicists)

The program provides high-level, systematic academic training in the disciplines and content of medical informatics, covering both information management and computerized diagnosis and treatment. The master's degree equips graduates with the methodologies and scientific knowledge necessary to pursue careers in teaching and research at the university level, or in management and executive roles related to healthcare.
