goals
The Master's Program in Cultural Management aims to train specialists with solid theoretical and applied knowledge—for "thinking and doing"—in the field of cultural management. With anthropological and sociological foundations, the program seeks to foster a deeper understanding of culture, delving into human territories, artistic expressions, public spaces, cultural policies, legal aspects, and economic-administrative areas. This ensures that graduates acquire a multidisciplinary perspective and comprehensive training, enabling them to conduct field research, diagnose sociocultural realities, design development plans, and manage and administer cultural projects.
Applicant Profile
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to the Program. In addition, they will be required to attend an interview with the Academic Committee and submit a preliminary cultural project. The Committee may require an entrance exam or define preparatory coursework.
Graduate profile
The expected graduate profile corresponds to a graduate with a multidisciplinary vision and comprehensive training, professionally trained to conduct field studies, diagnose sociocultural contexts, design cultural development programs, manage, execute and administer relevant plans and projects articulated in the short, medium and long term, that are compatible with the needs of the realities, communities and/or territories involved.
