Lines of investigation
The academics of the master's program investigate, among other topics and objects, photographs as historical documents; the relationships between film, sound, visual arts and literature and between images and texts in general; hermeneutical approaches to the problem of the image; the conception of writing as image, the different media and techniques of image production throughout history, as well as intermediality.
