1.1. It offers postgraduate training in social psychology specializing in psychosocial intervention and planning and evaluation of social projects, relevant to our national reality, with a solid theoretical, methodological and technical foundation of interdisciplinary origin and transdisciplinary projection.
1.2. It trains professionals from psychology and other related disciplines for the planning and evaluation of social projects, research and psychosocial intervention with groups, communities and institutions, linking the theoretical, methodological and technical dimensions of professional practice.

Graduate profile

The Master's Degree in Social Psychology at UAH, inspired by an ethical orientation of social responsibility regarding the profession and its practice, generates a high-level theoretical, methodological and technical postgraduate academic educational context, specializing in psychosocial intervention, planning and evaluation of social projects.
Graduates of the Master's program will be highly competent professionals in psychosocial intervention and the evaluation of social programs, with a solid and advanced academic background that enables them to systematically and reflectively produce and utilize knowledge and intervention and research tools from diverse disciplines, articulated from the perspective of Social Psychology. Thus, upon successful completion of the program, students are expected to be able to:
1. Develop processes of diagnosis, design and implementation of social projects and psychosocial interventions, relevant to our national reality, with a solid theoretical, methodological and technical basis.
2. Develop evaluation processes for social projects and psychosocial interventions in all their phases and dimensions, selecting, producing and using the relevant instrumental tools.
3. Demonstrate critical thinking skills regarding the processes of diagnosis, design and evaluation of social projects and psychosocial interventions.
4. Critically analyze the approaches and strategies of social intervention that operate in public and social policies in our country, based on their purposes, effects and the interests of the different actors involved.
5. To critically understand the social phenomena that are the object of social projects and psychosocial interventions, from the appropriation of the main contributions of social psychology and other disciplines.
6. To understand how political and disciplinary processes contribute to giving social phenomena and psychosocial problems a specific theoretical and political meaning that guides their approach.
7. To produce knowledge that contributes to the understanding of psychosocial problems and allows guiding strategies and the development of psychosocial intervention tools and the design of relevant social projects.
8. To contribute to the understanding and approach to social problems from a sense of social responsibility, with a special emphasis on ensuring universal social rights and valuing differences.
9. To ethically discern the various dilemmas that need to be faced in the exercise of the professional role within the framework of psychosocial intervention and the development and evaluation of social projects.
10. To effectively coordinate with relevant social actors in order to perform effectively in specific cooperation networks, with special emphasis on social participation and interdisciplinary dialogue.
