The main objective of this program is to offer professionals theoretical and practical training that allows them to develop the necessary skills for handling programming languages, using technological tools for managing and analyzing large amounts of data, and the ethical use of information in a knowledge society.

Applicant Profile

Admission requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics; or equivalent university degree. A minimum of two years of work experience in related fields. Proof of intermediate English proficiency at level B1 (or higher). Successful completion of the selection process.

Graduate profile

This program is aimed at professionals in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields who wish to update their knowledge and learn the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Graduates of the Master's in Artificial Intelligence will be able to: Master the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to analyze new techniques, algorithms, methodologies, and emerging applications. Evaluate emerging technologies in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science to improve the efficiency of organizational processes and provide innovative solutions to specific problems. Apply computational tools for managing, visualizing, and extracting large volumes of data to predict and make informed decisions within organizations. Act responsibly and ethically in the analysis and management of information and in decision-making. Manage the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence projects in interdisciplinary teams.

Lines of investigation

The UC Master's program in Artificial Intelligence has a group of professors who conduct cutting-edge research in areas such as: Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Visual Recognition, Machine Learning, Big Data, Automatic Visual Inspection, Recommender Systems, Cognitive Robotics, Visual Recognition, Data Science, Statistics, Search Algorithms, Planning Techniques and Problem Solving using deductive logic.
