goals
Among the objectives of the MPUR is to provide postgraduate-level knowledge and tools to generate: Design and project formulation skills at a specific scale between architecture and urban planning. Critical reflection based on both the state of the art of the discipline and the challenges and demands of the contemporary city. Technical and operational knowledge gathered from diverse disciplines and from both the public and private sectors.

Graduate profile
Graduates of the MPUR program will possess the necessary knowledge to formulate the morphology and uses of urban projects through partial or detailed plans and will be qualified to develop management strategies and the necessary tools to implement these projects. Their urban design skills will be based on reflection on national and international case studies, as well as on appropriate participatory instruments and processes for the implementation and execution of proposals, thus responding to the current and future needs of our cities and their communities.
