goals
To train executives capable of exercising leadership and efficiently and competitively managing construction and real estate projects and companies. To foster a multidisciplinary work and study environment that enables students to respond creatively, innovatively, and with leadership to the challenges of the construction industry. To provide a viable alternative for developing skills in professionals seeking to join senior management positions in private companies or public institutions. To deliver high-level technical training that incorporates modern management strategies for the construction industry, the real estate sector, and urban development projects.
Applicant Profile
The MAC UC is aimed at construction professionals in the public and private sectors who participate in civil, industrial, mining, and real estate projects, including urban planners. Requirements for applying to the Master's program: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent university degree, in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Engineering Sciences, or another related field. A minimum of two years of work experience, documented with two letters of recommendation detailing the applicant's professional experience and relevant activities in the field. These letters must be issued by a supervisor or someone in a position to assess the applicant's professional performance. Sufficient English reading comprehension to read and understand supplementary materials for the various courses. This must be demonstrated through an original certificate of English proficiency; otherwise, this competency will be assessed during the personal interview as part of the selection process.
Graduate profile
During their training, students will acquire the skills to address problems inherent to professional practice, whether in the areas of management or technology, in a creative and efficient manner. These diverse challenges require complementing theoretical and conceptual foundations with the application of analytical methodologies and techniques. They will develop, among others, the following skills: Analytical and decision-making skills: the ability to systematically analyze problems, using cutting-edge methodological and technological tools to support decision-making processes. Interdisciplinary work: the development of language and skills for effective interdisciplinary work in investment development processes, construction projects, and urban planning and management, within a comprehensive framework of the issues addressed. The ability to visualize complex projects and their implementation from different perspectives and using contemporary paradigms, maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of their analyses, and enabling them to manage knowledge. The ability to propose and develop novel and innovative initiatives in the management and implementation of urban projects and the construction industry. Ability to lead and manage projects and work teams in their areas of expertise, with a focus on senior management.

Areas of development: – Project Management: which provides students with the most innovative tools and techniques in the state of the art; – Business and Organization Management: which provides an overview of each of the functional areas that make up business management, its main characteristics and problems.
