The purpose of the Master's program is to empower professionals with solid conceptual categories, appropriate methodologies, and the management of public policy instruments, in order to improve the effectiveness and impact of poverty alleviation efforts and achieve the social integration of excluded sectors.

Graduates of this program are expected to contribute to the region by developing public policy proposals that reflect a Christian ethical commitment aligned with social justice and the well-being of citizens in their professional practice, emphasizing integrity and transparency in public action. This will be achieved through research processes aimed at improving the effectiveness and impact of poverty alleviation strategies and fostering the social integration of marginalized communities.

Graduates of the Master's program in Public Policy and Socio-Territorial Processes work in public policy management with a cross-cutting focus on social innovation, new economies, and citizen participation in territorial contexts. The Master's program aims to provide training with an emphasis on the interdisciplinary dimension, geared towards the production of knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the Social and Economic Sciences. It seeks to meet the expressed needs of a significant number of professionals working in social development programs in public and private organizations in the region, who require enhanced understanding of conceptual categories.
