The Master's Degree in Mathematics with specializations is primarily intended for graduates and professionals from the following fields: Mathematics Education, Mathematics Engineering, Statistical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering and related disciplines with demonstrable experience in the area.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master's Program in Mathematics are professionals with advanced knowledge in Applied Mathematics and/or Statistics, prepared to design, evaluate, and integrate information from diverse sources, as well as to adapt or apply mathematical models to solve problems of a disciplinary or interdisciplinary nature, thereby contributing to the development of the field. Furthermore, they will be able to integrate into research teams, participating in discussions within scientific communities with a proactive, autonomous, responsible, and ethical approach. This will enable them to conduct research and disseminate their findings through scientific publications.
