General objective
TO GENERATE PROFESSIONALS WITH CREATIVE AND MANAGEMENT CAPACITY TO LEAD EDUCATIONAL PROPOSALS WITH THE INCORPORATION OF COMPUTER AND TELEMATIC RESOURCES THAT LEAD TO A METHODOLOGICAL REFLECTION AND APPLICATION OF THE VARIOUS EXISTING AND EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES WITH IMPACT ON THEIR PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES.

Specific objectives
– Develop initiatives that incorporate current technologies leading to improvements in professional development and management.
– To creatively apply technologies in a professional context as a way to solve problems in new or little-explored environments with a multidisciplinary approach.
– Develop high-level skills in the area of technologies that allow managing and leading strategic projects with high added value, as well as the development of new services to the surrounding community.
– Participate in face-to-face or virtual communities linked to your professional work, representing opportunities for learning and professional development.
– Draw conclusions from the knowledge gained from the use of technologies to provide feedback on your professional development.
– Design actions to improve professional practice that incorporate technologies, adding value to the teaching and learning process.
– To plan, implement and evaluate technological solutions to public and private problems, considering the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired from the perspective of technologies, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Applicant Profile

Participants in the Master's Program in Educational Informatics for Teaching must hold a Bachelor's degree or a professional title whose level and content of study are equivalent to those necessary to obtain a Bachelor's degree in disciplines such as communications, education, informatics, social sciences, natural sciences, or other related fields. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English at an instrumental level. This will be demonstrated through a test (printed or online) that evaluates comprehension of a text written in English related to current technologies. To do this, they must answer three questions and identify four key concepts in Spanish from the text read.

Graduate profile

Didactic teaching with technology tends to develop not only cognitive skills and improve the learning process itself in students, but also affective and motor skills in those linked to educational and related contexts, relevant scenarios in today's society when evaluating an individual's professional performance (soft skills).
Considering the above, the program defines its implementation and respective evaluation, in the sense that the graduate:

– Be a professional capable of leading initiatives supported by the diverse technologies that underpin the program, its actions and ranges of extension.
– Be a professional trained in this specialization who demonstrates up-to-date knowledge that will allow them to investigate and implement initiatives associated with existing and emerging technologies, thereby optimizing their work performance.

Lines of investigation

The development or training line of the Master's Program in Educational Informatics for Teaching is called, technology and leadership and is aimed at giving students the tools to become effective leaders with a clear vision regarding what can be achieved with ICT in their professional field, through dialogue and discussion with their peers, sharing their ideas in order to ensure that everyone has a common goal, thereby contributing to making lasting changes in the educational organization or institution.
