To train professionals specializing in the management and application of the rules of the Chilean tax system and the main financial tools, enabling them to advise organizations in their decision-making processes, with an ethical and value-based commitment, in accordance with the identity seal of the UCSC.

The applicant to the Master's program in Tax and Financial Management is a professional who works in the business field and who needs to acquire skills in the areas of taxation and finance to be applied in organizations or to provide advice independently.

Graduate profile

Graduates of the Master's Program in Tax and Financial Management will be able to apply current Chilean tax regulations to optimize the tax performance of organizations. Furthermore, the skills they acquire will enable them to design strategies for managing relevant financial and tax variables that influence the organization's strategic decisions, with an ethical and values-based commitment, in accordance with the UCSC's core values.

Development Areas
1) Tax Management: This area is dedicated to providing our graduates with the skills and knowledge to apply current tax regulations and optimize the tax performance of organizations. This area of development contributes to the graduate profile through the competency "Apply current Chilean tax legislation to optimize the resources of individuals and organizations.".

2) Financial Management: This area is designed to provide graduates with the skills and knowledge to contribute to creating strategies related to the financial and tax aspects of organizations. This area of development contributes to the graduate profile by achieving the competency "Integrating the elements of financial management to propose short- and long-term action plans to the organization, thereby improving its corporate results.".
