goals

General objective: To train a specialist in the area of management of organizations in the maritime port sector, with the ability to adapt to the changes inherent in the industry.
Specific objectives: -To provide a modern vision of port management under international standards.
-Provide tools in port management, foreign trade and logistics considering the Chile-European Union-USA-Korea-Japan-China Free Trade Agreement, among others.
-To provide advanced training in port management and maritime freight traffic.
-To provide a current view of the aspects that affect the management of ports and the traffic of goods entering and leaving them.
-To provide a multidimensional treatment and analysis of the administration and management of maritime port traffic.
-To contribute to national development by offering professionals in the sector the opportunity to expand and update their knowledge and skills in maritime-port management.
-Development of coastal and maritime engineering

Applicant Profile

Professionals with a Bachelor's degree or University Professional Title from courses of at least 8 semesters in duration in any discipline, who work or wish to work in Shipping and/or Port companies, General Agencies, Ship Agencies or Consignees, Stevedoring and Unsteving Agencies, Docking Companies, Logistics Companies, Forwarders, Ship Brokers, and in general, any other maritime port organization whether from the private sector or the State Administration.

Graduate profile

The graduate will be able to apply tools to plan the development of organizations in the maritime port sector, as well as to organize, direct and control the activities of the maritime port operating and logistics system.
