A professional program whose central objective is to study, understand, investigate and apply a theoretical framework based on cognitive psychology and epistemology, enabling educators to build meaningful learning experiences for their students in the area of natural and exact sciences.
Applicant Profile
The program is aimed at secondary and higher education teachers of Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemistry, or primary and early childhood education. It is also suitable for other professionals whose work involves teaching natural and exact sciences.
Graduate profile
The future graduate will be characterized by acquiring competencies that allow them to develop their professional capacity with a critical, creative, and innovative approach, generating reflective proposals within the framework of scientific research in their respective disciplinary area. They will have a solid and up-to-date foundation in learning theories, as well as in the epistemological currents that underpin any type of research, and especially those related to science education.
