To offer a postgraduate program leading to the academic degree of Master in Science Teaching, for the disciplinary and didactic training of professionals with skills to improve, innovate and reflect on their classroom practice, thus contributing to the area of science teaching and learning (Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry) at different levels and contexts of the educational system.
Applicant Profile
The target audience for the Master's Program in Science Education includes: Individuals with a bachelor's degree or professional title in science or mathematics education. Individuals with a bachelor's degree or professional title in disciplines related to science education, such as a degree in natural sciences or a degree in exact sciences. Individuals with a university degree and at least two years of teaching experience in science or mathematics at secondary education institutions (either academic or vocational) or higher education institutions (universities, professional institutes, or technical training centers).
