Applicant Profile
The Master's Program in Aquaculture is aimed at nationals and foreigners who hold a higher level university degree or academic degree in science or technology issued by Chilean or foreign universities whose study plan is no less than 8 semesters.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master's Program in Aquaculture at UCN are specialists with a holistic vision, emphasizing research and the application of scientific and technological knowledge in the areas of: biology applied to aquaculture; engineering and technology of aquaculture production systems; and aquaculture management. Their objective is to deepen and advance the cultivation of aquatic resources in a sustainable manner, contributing to both the social demand for food and the development of entrepreneurial capacity in aquaculture. To fulfill their role, graduates of the Master's Program in Aquaculture will be part of work teams and will interact with the management and operational levels of organizations, public agencies, and social organizations within the production sector. All of this is carried out with rigor, ethics, and environmental awareness, while collaborating with professionals involved in aquaculture.
