The Master's program in Applied Economics with a specialization in Regional Studies seeks to train Masters of excellence, capable of conducting original research that contributes to the development of people and society and that represents an advance in the frontier of knowledge of Applied Economics in the fields of Regional Studies.
Applicant Profile
Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree or a professional qualification equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and be students with strong critical thinking skills and an interest in social and economic development issues. They must also be committed to ongoing academic development and capable of rigorous and disciplined work.
Graduate profile
This graduate possesses a solid theoretical foundation in Economics and Regional Studies, along with a robust methodological approach that will enable them to understand and conduct scientific research and solve problems related to their field of study. They have a strong capacity to adapt, develop, and apply models and theories to carry out high-quality research. Furthermore, this training will allow them to pursue doctoral studies in areas related to Economics and/or Regional Studies or to continue a high-level professional career.
