About the General Secretariat
The General Secretariat (SG) of the Council of Rectors is in charge of the administration of this public body.
Among its main areas of work, the following stand out:
- Execute the agreements of the authorities of the Council of Rectors
- Lead projects that promote the fulfillment of the role of the Council of Rectors
- Prepare studies and their dissemination
- Articulate collaboration and development initiatives among the universities that make up the Council
- Coordinate with public entities in the field of Higher Education
- Build networks internationally
Members
María Angélica Bosch
abosch@consejoderectores.cl General SecretaryMaría Angélica Bosch is a civil industrial engineer from the University of Chile and holds a master's degree in Statistics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Throughout her career, she has served as an advisor to the Ministry of Education, was a member of the EUNACOM Statistical Committee, executive director of the Unified Admission System of the Council of Rectors, and national coordinator of the School Admission System of the Undersecretariat of Education. At the time of her appointment, she was head of the Planning and Strategic Projects Unit at the University of Chile.
