Since its creation, the Council of Rectors meets periodically in ordinary and extraordinary sessions. The ordinary sessions are scheduled every year, establishing a monthly one organized by one of the member universities. On the other hand, extraordinary sessions are scheduled according to the requirements that arise and the work schedule. In each session, the Secretary General acts as minister of faith, who is in charge of carrying out a Public Act.
