Commission of Academic Vice-Chancellors

About the Commission

The Commission of Academic Vice-Rectors (CoVRA) was created in plenary session No. 325 on November 14, 1990, held at the General Secretariat of CRUCH.

Its objective is to generate a space for analysis, discussion and collaborative work, framed within the line of continuous improvement of processes, among the various universities that are part of CRUCH, through synergies within the Chilean university system.

The Commission has five primary lines of action for the development of the work: inclusion, good practices, academic integrity (as a cross-cutting exercise), contribution to the country's public policy, and contingencies.

For coordination purposes, the Commission has a Steering Committee composed of two members per zone (North-Central, Central-Santiago and South-Central), who act as zonal coordinators and have the function of facilitating and supporting effective communication between the members of CoVRA.
