The Scopus Elsevier award was given to eight Chilean scientists based on the number of publications and citations their work receives. At the monthly meeting of the Council of Rectors, held in Talca, representatives from the 25 universities of the CRUCH (Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities) analyzed the student mobilizations.
