The Secretary General of CRUCH, Angélica Bosch, stated that “this competition seeks to renew the image of CRUCH, taking into account its history, contributions and future challenges, while also strengthening its position as a leading body in higher education and territorial development in Chile.”.

The call for applications, aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students from CRUCH universities, will be open until May 15, 2025.

This afternoon, the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities (CRUCH) announced the "Make History with Your Design: New CRUCH Image" competition«, one of the initiatives on the agenda to commemorate its 70th anniversary, and which seeks to receive design proposals from a a new image or graphic brand that reflects the Council's history, values, and vision for the future.

“This competition seeks to renew the image of CRUCH, taking into account its history, contributions, and future challenges, while also strengthening its position as a leading body in higher education and territorial development in Chile,” stated CRUCH Secretary General Angélica Bosch. She added that the winning proposal will be the one that “captures the essence of CRUCH, which plays a key role in shaping public education policy.”.

The contest, Organized in collaboration with the academic units gathered in the Network of Design Schools (ReDis) of the CRUCH, it is aimed at undergraduate and postgraduate students, Those who may submit their proposals individually or in teams of up to three people, accrediting the academic sponsorship of a professor from one of the CRUCH universities.

The Applications will be accepted until May 15, 2025 The top three places and honorable mentions will be selected during June 2025. Subsequently, at an awards ceremony, the third and second place winners will receive a plaque of recognition, while the first place winner will receive a commemorative medal, a diploma, and a contract for the final design of the new CRUCH image.

A call to creativity and history

This competition, Bosch points out, represents an excellent opportunity for students from CRUCH universities, present throughout Chile, to leave their mark on the history of the Council, which celebrated seven decades of history on August 14th.
