El CRUCH abrió un llamado para elegir a las y los integrantes de su Consejo de la Sociedad Civil, dirigido a personas jurídicas sin fines de lucro, que trabajen en temas como equidad e inclusión en la educación superior, calidad en este ámbito y formación de capital humano, entre otros.
Quienes quieran participar podrán postular hasta las 12.00 horas del viernes 29 de julio.
En cumplimiento con las disposiciones de la Ley N° 20.500 sobre Asociaciones y Participación Ciudadana en la Gestión Pública, el Consejo de Rectores de las Universidades Chilenas (CRUCH) abrió un proceso de postulación dirigido a organizaciones de interés público para elegir a las y los integrantes de su Consejo de la Sociedad Civil (COSOC).
La convocatoria está dirigida a personas jurídicas sin fines de lucro, que tengan relación con las temáticas de competencia del CRUCH, como equidad e inclusión en la educación superior; calidad de la educación superior; formación de capital humano para el desarrollo del país; rol social de las universidades y áreas o temas emergentes vinculados a necesidades de la ciudadanía.
“Invitamos a participar en nuestro COSOC a organizaciones que trabajan desde todas las regiones de Chile y que ponen sus esfuerzos en lograr que el sistema de educación superior mejore sus parámetros de calidad e inclusión social, acorde a las necesidades y requerimiento de las diversas comunidades que integran el país”, dijo la secretaria general (s) del Consejo de Rectores, Marcela Cifuentes.
The CRUCH Civil Society Council will be composed of a minimum of six and a maximum of eight organizations. Members of this body will serve indefinitely.
Organizations with legal personality in Chile and whose work objective is related to the topics of competence of CRUCH may participate in this call.
Regarding the candidacies of representatives, members of the institutions already described may be nominated, provided they are sponsored by these institutions and do not present any of the disqualifications established in article 15 of the Regulations on the Operation and Composition of the COSOC of the Council of Rectors, That is, to be officials in any capacity of the CRUCH and hold an elected office.
Application requirements
Organizations interested in participating in this call for proposals must complete a registration form, available on our website, in the section Citizen participation.
In addition, they must submit: a) a certificate of validity of the organization; b) statutes or constitution document of the organization duly legalized, c) document that accredits the legal representation of the organization, and d) a curriculum vitae or dossier of the organization that specifies its work associated with the topics of competence of the CRUCH.
In the case of those who represent the organization or are designated for the purpose of their integration into the COSOC, the following must be presented: a) a certification delivered by the person who presides over or represents the organization accrediting the membership of the person who is applying and b) a curriculum vitae of the candidate that specifies their experience in the topics of competence of the Council.
Groups will only be able to register one candidate.

Selección de integrantes del COSOC
The Secretary General of CRUCH will designate the organizations that will make up the COSOC, within a period of 30 working days from the day of the end of the application period.
This selection will be made after evaluating the background information submitted by the groups. To ensure transparency in the selection process, the evaluation will be based on criteria specified in the terms and conditions of the call for applications, available on the website of the Council of Rectors, Citizen Participation section.
