Through its website, CRUCH provides the community with information on accredited master's and doctoral programs offered at the 30 institutions that make up the organization.

The president of the Postgraduate Commission, Diego Cosmelli, assures that this tool allows us to "verify that there is advanced training, both professional and academic, in all areas of knowledge, throughout all regions of the country.".

In order to systematize the postgraduate programs offered by its 30 universities throughout the country, the website of the Council of Rectors of Chilean Universities (CRUCH) updated its search engines for master's and doctoral programs.

The president of the CRUCH Postgraduate Commission, Diego Cosmelli, director of the Graduate School at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC), emphasizes the usefulness of this tool. “Having systematized information on CRUCH postgraduate options is a major step toward consolidating and showcasing the vast array of master's and doctoral programs offered by our universities,” he affirms.

Cosmelli argues that this tool allows us to "verify that there is advanced training, both professional and academic, in all areas of knowledge, throughout all regions of the country.".

The CRUCH postgraduate search engines are available at this link, allowing users to learn about the programs of Master's degree Y doctorate.

“The information presented there includes important data such as the objectives of the programs, the graduate profiles and the lines of research of the programs, something that is fundamental to choosing according to the professional interests of a potential applicant,” explains the director of the Graduate School of the PUC.

Search engines allow you to search for programs, filtering by university, region, or area of knowledge.

“This also facilitates exploration. Ultimately, this is a very valuable resource for any potential applicant to postgraduate studies, but especially for foreign students who are looking to specialize in Chile, as it allows them to have an overview of the offerings of the group of the most important universities in the country.”.

The site also links the programs to the websites of the institutions that offer them, making it easier for those interested to find out more information about them.

Tradition of quality

Regarding why choose to pursue postgraduate studies at one of the CRUCH institutions, Diego Cosmelli explains that the organization “brings together the most important universities in the country, which have demonstrated their quality and ability to train people with the highest standards, in all areas of knowledge and creation and throughout the entire national territory.”.

In this context, the master's and doctoral degrees offered "not only present a diverse and relevant offering to multiple professional development interests, but are also endorsed by universities that have placed a very strong emphasis on the quality of their programs.".
