The MTIG program aims to provide solid, specialized technological knowledge while simultaneously situating it within the context of its application as a means to improve a company's competitive position and launch new businesses. The program's unique combination of management and technology is designed to produce leaders who can gain a competitive edge by maximizing the use of available technology across various development areas.

Applicant Profile

Admission requirements: Hold a bachelor's degree or professional university degree related to the program's area of specialization (e.g., Commercial, Civil, Industrial, Computer Engineers). Possess at least 3 years of work experience in the master's program's areas of specialization.

Graduate profile

The graduate profile indicates that the program graduate will be able to: Master the fundamentals of classic subjects related to business management. Understand and appreciate the opportunities for using information technologies to significantly improve efficiency in the management of companies and organizations. Manage the fundamental principles that underpin information technologies. Make informed decisions involving the development or acquisition of information and communication technologies in their company. Understand emerging technologies and their potential applications within the existing context.

Lines of investigation

The program is professional in nature; therefore, the areas of development are: Information Technologies: State-of-the-art topics in computing, including databases, software engineering, web technologies, and computer security. The goal is for participants to be able to describe emerging technologies and how they provide solutions to organizational problems. Management: Classic topics in financial administration, strategic management, operations management, process management, and human resources. The goal is for participants to be able to describe the practices used to manage organizations. Furthermore, to enhance their leadership skills, the program aims to develop their ability to analyze organizational needs from different perspectives. Information Technologies for Management: Technological aspects geared toward improving management. The goal is for participants to be able to describe how information technologies can contribute to efficiency in the management of companies and organizations.
