goals
The objective of the Master's program in Taxation is to prepare the student to participate in studies on tax policy, reform processes and also to provide advice on matters of national and international taxation, so as to facilitate the full and timely compliance with the obligations imposed by the law, establishing the correct interpretation and application of the rules that are in force.
Applicant Profile
Those who meet the following requirements may apply to the program leading to the Master's degree in Taxation:
1.- To hold a Bachelor's degree or professional title whose level, content and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of a Bachelor's degree at the University of Chile, as determined by the Academic Committee
2. Demonstrate prior training relevant to the aims and requirements of the Master's Program in Taxation. The Academic Committee may require that, in addition to reviewing the applicant's background, their knowledge and skills in the Program's disciplines be evaluated. This evaluation may consist of an examination or other mechanisms that objectively assess their level of preparation.
Graduate profile
At the end of the studies, students will have acquired the professional skills necessary to successfully address tax-related problems that require evaluating the tax system; they will also be able to advise on the solution of situations that have arisen in taxpayer institutions and companies.
