goals
To train high-level graduates who apply fundamental, updated and advanced knowledge of toxicology to identify hazards and assess toxicological risks to humans, mainly in professional performance in the areas of fundamental and experimental, analytical, clinical or occupational toxicology.

Application for admission made through the UV Single Application, Selection and Enrollment System (PSM System) of the University of Valparaíso.
The undergraduate-graduate articulation option is open to students of the Faculties of Pharmacy, Medicine, and Sciences at the University of Valparaíso, on a voluntary basis, according to Exempt Resolution No. 5919 of November 22, 2016. As an admission requirement through this modality, in addition to the above, applicants must have an academic commitment compatible with the commitment required for the Master's program. In this case, a Bachelor's degree certificate will not be required. However, applicants must submit a certificate of academic progress demonstrating fulfillment of the requirements for a Bachelor's degree.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master's Program in Toxicology will be able to explain toxicity in humans, critically analyze scientific information, and distinguish between instrumental techniques that will allow them to identify hazards. Furthermore, graduates will be able to assess toxicity risks to humans, both for management and communication purposes, primarily in the areas of toxicology covered by the program.
