To train highly professional experts capable of leading collaborative conflict resolution processes in the family, neighborhood, criminal, school, civil, commercial, health, environmental and labor spheres, in a socially responsible manner, contributing to the culture of peace and the construction of a more just society, through an educational model inspired by Christian humanist principles.

Applicant Profile

This program is specifically aimed at graduates of a degree program of at least 8 semesters in length, interested in the collaborative management of conflicts and their interdisciplinary treatment, who work or intend to work in public or private institutions in the areas of law, social sciences, education, health and other related fields.

Graduate profile

The graduation profile includes the development and evidence of the following competencies or performances:

1. Determine a conflict resolution strategy by mobilizing knowledge specific to conflict resolution
collaborative in interpersonal and/or group contexts
2. Generate an effective communication process in accordance with the principles of collaborative problem-solving
conflicts, with intercultural relevance, facilitating agreements between parties.
3. Uses collaborative negotiation techniques to resolve interpersonal and/or group conflicts in their professional performance context.
4. Conducts mediation processes in situations of interpersonal and/or group conflicts.
5. Formulates and interprets societal problems from a critical reflective process from a socially and ethically responsible perspective, inspired by Christian humanist values, considering the impact on the contexts and human groups with which it relates.

Lines of investigation

The Master's Program in Collaborative Conflict Resolution will focus on the application of negotiation, mediation, and conciliation in family, neighborhood, criminal, school, civil, commercial, health, environmental, and labor disputes. The selection of these topics is related to the main
legislative reforms already approved and those currently being processed, which consider these
conflict resolution mechanisms, which leads to the implementation of public policies by the State and, consequently, the need for professionals specialized in these matters
