goals

The overall objective of the program is to train postgraduate students with a solid foundation in the main theoretical and methodological schools of thought in International Relations and related social sciences, with an emphasis on the analysis of cross-border dynamics in Latin America, particularly in the Southern Cone. It serves as an introduction to research after obtaining a Bachelor's degree and/or professional title.

Applicant Profile

Those eligible to apply to the Program are individuals who hold at least a Bachelor's degree, or a Professional Title of at least 8 semesters in duration, whose level and content of studies are equivalent to those necessary to obtain a Bachelor's degree.

Graduate profile

1. Ability to analyze the different facets and key aspects of Latin American international reality (State, international institutions, foreign policy, international insertion of the regions, international civil society, migration processes, border dynamics) and able to integrate those variables.
2. Ability to establish relationships and associate the theoretical-practical elements that manifest themselves in the Latin American international reality with emphasis on the cross-border dynamics of the region, as well as knowing how to systematize from a theoretical-abstract level and apply it to concrete situations.
3. Ability to use valid and reliable methodological concepts and tools that facilitate the understanding and explanation of emerging international phenomena, as well as to prepare a scientific document.
