goals

● To train specialists in public policy capable of participating in the analysis and functioning of the public policy formation process (design, approval, implementation and evaluation), with a multidisciplinary perspective but prioritizing decision-making based on empirical evidence.

● To provide graduates with concrete tools for resource management in both the public and private sectors.

● To contribute to the development and public debate on public policies that the country requires, through various training and academic extension activities, as well as the work and research carried out by the academic body.

Applicant Profile

The program is designed for professionals from diverse disciplines who work (or aspire to work) in public or private organizations involved in the design, implementation, analysis, and/or evaluation of public policies. Participants are expected to be motivated by combining economic tools and quantitative methodologies with a practical approach that considers the political logic of public policy.

The minimum requirement to apply to the program is to have a bachelor's degree and a consistent track record (either in undergraduate training or work experience) with the program's content.

Graduate profile

The graduate of the Master's in Public Policy will have the capacity and the theoretical and practical tools to understand the problems and solutions required by public policies from a multidisciplinary perspective.

It encompasses the political and economic dimensions involved in public policies, integrating them into the process of analysis, formulation, implementation, and evaluation of those policies.

Their training will enable them to participate in the debate and critical analysis of public policies, proposing evidence-based recommendations that lead to improvements in their design or implementation.

Graduates of the Master's in Public Policy will have management and leadership skills that will allow them to reach positions of greater responsibility and become a key player within public and private organizations with an impact on public welfare.
