The goal of the Master's in Public Policy is to train professionals capable of designing public policies and successfully leading their implementation. Specifically, the program aims to equip students with the tools they need to accelerate growth and improve the quality of life in developing countries.

Applicant Profile

Those who meet the following requirements may apply to the program leading to the Master's degree in Public Policy:
1.- To hold a Bachelor's degree or professional title whose level, content and duration of studies correspond to training equivalent to that of a Bachelor's degree at the University of Chile, as determined by the Academic Committee
2. Demonstrate prior training relevant to the aims and requirements of the Master's Program in Public Policy. The Academic Committee may require that, in addition to reviewing the applicant's background, their knowledge and skills in the Program's disciplines be evaluated. This evaluation may consist of an examination or other mechanisms that objectively assess their level of preparation.

Graduate profile

A graduate of the Master's in Public Policy should be able to quickly become familiar with a variety of public policy issues, both in Chile and in other countries, and be capable of conducting economic, statistical, and institutional analyses that provide useful information for decision-making at the highest level. Furthermore, graduates should be able to express themselves clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, to promote and lead changes in the field of public policy.
