goals

1. To train advanced human resources in the areas of planning and management
territorial, through the deepening of the systemic and interdisciplinary study of the
components and processes that occur in the territory, providing theoretical and methodological elements and using tools to support critical analysis as a basis for proposed solutions to territorial organization problems, at different scales of intervention.
2. Generate proposals and direct territorial planning and management processes, aimed at
the proposal and implementation of sustainable territorial models in accordance with local development requirements.
3. To promote and contribute to the sustainable and equitable development of the Region, to address the problems of land management, providing appropriate solutions to the context in which they occur, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the people who live there.

3. Implement participatory processes to achieve the goals of territorial planning within the legal and institutional framework of Chilean legislation.
4. Proposes and leads territorial planning and management processes, considering the multiple interactions between technical, economic, social and environmental factors.
5. Generates research to address specific professional problems applied to the territorial field.
