Applicant Profile
Applicants to the Master's Program in Educational and Vocational Guidance are professionals in the field of education or related disciplines. Prospective students are characterized by their interest in delving deeper into specific aspects of educational and vocational guidance and counseling, through reading scientific articles, identifying problematic situations in their professional and work environments, and developing and implementing diverse and contextualized interventions.
Graduate profile
The following competency relationships are expected of the new postgraduate professional:
To analyze the nature of educational and guidance knowledge in its professional context, based on different theoretical references.
To generate contributions to educational and guidance knowledge that allow discussion regarding a theory of guidance and the scientific disciplines that support it.
Promote permanent and systematic teamwork with all agents involved in the different curricular processes of the educational unit.
Engage in dialogue, preferably with subject teachers and head teachers, as they are the students' primary guides.
To offer personal and professional help to both students and trainers.
To put into practice relevant techniques and strategies in the processes of support and counseling to people in the school system.
Develop basic assessment and diagnostic tools to implement among the students in their professional environment.
Manage procedures to determine the validity and reliability of the different instruments used in your professional context
