• To train social researchers who are distinguished by their ability to reflect on the nature of research methods and the production of social knowledge.
• To offer an advanced learning space in the handling of methods relevant to social research, both quantitative and qualitative.
• To prepare students to conduct excellent empirical social research, identifying the most suitable methods and the most efficient techniques to solve a research problem.

Applicant Profile

To apply to the Program, it is required to hold a bachelor's degree awarded by a national or foreign university and/or an equivalent professional title.

Graduate profile

Upon completion of their training, graduates will be able to:

• Understand the varied and complex nature of research methods and social knowledge production.
• Reflect on and critically discuss the use, analysis, and effects of various methodologies depending on the objective of each investigation.
• Apply a variety of quantitative and qualitative social research techniques.
• Conduct empirical social research, defining and conceptualizing a problem, identifying the most suitable methods, the most efficient techniques to solve it, and the potential consequences and results of the research
