Applicant Profile
The Master's Program in Environment is aimed at graduates and professionals in the areas of natural sciences, engineering, social sciences or equivalent.
Graduate profile
This professional specializes in the environmental field and is trained to identify the environmental impacts of human activity, propose remediation measures, and prevent or mitigate environmental conflicts. They will be able to respond ethically and with social responsibility to the challenges of conserving the environment and its natural resources. Through a multidisciplinary approach, they will be able to coordinate environmental impact assessment studies in accordance with national and international regulations. They will also be able to organize and lead interdisciplinary work teams, based on respect for human beings, society, and nature.

Development Areas
Polluting Sources and Clean Technologies: Identification of anthropogenic sources, according to their characteristics, origin, and effects on natural ecosystems. Based on this knowledge, alternative technologies for treating pollutants in different elements (water, soil, atmosphere) are studied.
Conservation and remediation: area that considers the evaluation of the conservation status of ecosystems as species, as well as the design of proposals or measures for conservation and remediation according to current regulations and knowledge.
Environmental impact assessment and management for the company: within the framework of problems of public or private institutions, environmental impacts are estimated, as well as the proposal of management measures for the reduction of negative anthropogenic effects.
