The Master in Mathematics is an academic program that aims to provide solid and excellent training in the fundamental areas of mathematics and to train in initial research, so that the graduate can join research groups or continue studies.

Applicant Profile

Applicants holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification of at least four years or eight semesters in duration, whose level and content of study correspond to those required to obtain the Master's degree, may be admitted to Master's programs. This condition will be determined by the Director or the Academic Committee of the respective program. Furthermore, each program may establish specific admission dates and requirements, considering aspects such as academic background, entrance exam, language proficiency, letters of recommendation, personal interview, and others.

Graduate profile

He will be qualified to engage in research activities in mathematics or its applications to other areas of knowledge, as well as to contribute to the training of professionals in his discipline that society requires at higher university levels.
