goals
The Master's in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Science and Technology at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile is a program whose objective is to develop skills for future engineers and/or experts in basic sciences aimed at generating innovation based on science and scientific-technological entrepreneurship that allows contributing to the social and economic development of the country by responding to the needs of society through private, social and public innovation and entrepreneurship.
Applicant Profile
Those who meet the following requirements may apply to the programs leading to the Master's degree:
1.- To hold a Bachelor's degree or professional title whose level, content and duration of studies correspond at least to an equivalent training to that of the Bachelor's degree at the University of Chile, as determined by the corresponding Academic Committee.
2.- Demonstrate prior training in accordance with the aims and requirements of the program to which you are applying (Bachelor's degree in engineering, sciences, or related fields)
Graduate profile
The program's graduate profile aims for the professional to graduate with the knowledge and skills to:
1. Identify scientific and technological opportunities and solutions to societal problems.
2. Conceptualize an idea that can become a value proposition.
3.- Create products and services that are innovative, science/technologically based solutions that represent a value proposition considering the common good.
4. Design innovative processes, products and/or services.
5. Manage and form multidisciplinary work teams
6.- Be able to move from idea to implementation, considering in a comprehensive way critical aspects for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Lines of investigation
There are no lines of research; the program corresponds to a multidisciplinary professional Master's degree focused on innovation and entrepreneurship based on science and technology.
