The Master's program is designed to train professionals to efficiently solve complex engineering problems. Graduates will be able to apply knowledge from both engineering and materials science, including phase transformations, physical metallurgy, mechanical design, energy transfer, and automatic control, to develop innovative technological solutions for problems in the productive and academic sectors through applied interdisciplinary technological research. The program is geared towards engineering students and professionals who wish to enhance their skills, knowledge, and abilities in the field of mechanics and materials.
Applicant Profile
a) Hold an academic degree of Bachelor or a Professional Title in the area of Engineering Sciences, whose level and content are equivalent to those required for a Bachelor's degree.
b) Accompany curriculum Vitae.
c) Attach two letters of recommendation or academic reports that support your application to a program of this type.
Besides:
d) The academic records of applicants who have completed courses abroad must be legalized.
e) Transcript of grades, containing information on the courses taken at the time of application.
For those studying any Engineering degree at the FCI, they will be able to enter the Master's program in the Linkage modality, provided that there is the corresponding agreement between both programs (degree and Master's).
Graduate profile
Graduates are characterized by: a solid scientific foundation in the disciplines of mechanics and materials science; a high level of theoretical, experimental, and applied knowledge; the ability to solve complex problems; the capacity to conduct applied research; a spirit of development and entrepreneurship; and a spirit of interdisciplinary teamwork. Graduates will be able to conduct research and/or lead technological development projects required by industry.
To train graduates to primarily enter industry, teach, and conduct applied research in mechanics and materials. Graduates will be equipped to strengthen research and innovation units within companies and execute technological research projects that require the creation and/or transformation of mechanical and materials technology.
