goals

The overall objective of the Program is to train specialists who handle at an advanced level the current knowledge and technologies of Computer Engineering so that they can perform effectively in the development of quality solutions in the areas of development of the Program.
The specific objectives of the Program are:
a) To prepare the student in the use of cutting-edge knowledge and technologies of Informatics to generate innovative solutions in the areas of development of the Program.
b) To support, from the perspective of Computer Engineering, Research and Development (R&D) in the following areas: Biology and Medicine, Applications and scalable systems for the Web, and Complex Systems.

Applicant Profile

To enter the Program, applicants must prove that they hold a Bachelor's degree and/or a Professional Title equivalent in level and content to the Bachelor's degree with at least eight semesters of duration, in the area of Computer Engineering, Computer Science or in some related Engineering.

Graduate profile

a) Apply advanced knowledge of computational intelligence, engineering optimization, high-performance computing, and data processing to solve problems in one of the development areas of the Program.
b) Develop solutions to real problems by applying research methods and techniques specific to the discipline in one of the development areas of the Program.
c) Plan and manage R&D projects based on the discipline.
d) Lead work teams focused on Computer Engineering, to create new solutions.
