The program prepares professionals who, upon obtaining the Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Asset Management and Operational Reliability (MAM), can significantly contribute to the competitiveness of companies, in the design of industrial facilities and in leading change processes in the management and operation of physical assets, through the systematic improvement of operational reliability, maintenance and asset management, under an integrative perspective, duly supported by the definition of strategies and knowledge of the business environment.

Applicant Profile

The program is aimed at engineers of any specialty who perform management, design, planning, maintenance and operation tasks and who are interested in holding positions of responsibility in companies intensive in fixed assets, such as the Mining, Energy, Utilities, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, Transportation sectors, etc. or in Professional Services companies.

Graduate profile

The graduate is able to develop new industrial projects, for the operation and maintenance of plants and fleets, with an integrated vision and specific skills for decision-making, in order to prioritize the overall result of the organization by addressing performance, operational safety, and long-term sustainability.
• The graduate possesses analytical-quantitative skills for problem-solving in the area.
• The graduate possesses theoretical and practical knowledge of formal Operations Research techniques, such as Statistical Analysis, Reliability Theory, and Decision Analysis.
• The graduate uses quantitative analysis tools to address problems that arise in the areas of design, planning, control and management of systems, in the various application areas of Industrial Engineering.
