The Master's program in Government and Public Management is geared towards training specialists in disciplines related to Government and Public Management, generating skills that allow them to perform management functions, policy formulation and execution, innovation in management and technologies in organizations.
Applicant Profile
Applicants holding a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification of at least four years or eight semesters in duration, whose level and content of study correspond to those required to obtain the Master's degree, may be admitted to Master's programs. This condition will be determined by the Director or the Academic Committee of the respective program. Furthermore, each program may establish specific admission dates and requirements, considering aspects such as academic background, entrance exam, language proficiency, letters of recommendation, personal interview, and others.
Graduate profile
Graduates of the Master's in Government and Public Management at the University of Valparaíso will be able to analyze and reflect, from an interdisciplinary perspective, on the formulation, direction and evaluation of public policies, in accordance with the high-level training in the skills necessary to lead the processes related to public management.
