goals
To critically and comprehensively analyze the topics, techniques, and tools developed by contemporary political science, aimed at improving the functioning of a society facing challenges related to greater democracy and territorial relevance. To develop policy applications that harmonize the complexities of the various spheres of activity within society and its territories, particularly at the intranational level. To apply the approaches, methodologies, and tools that underpin state modernization and public management programs, particularly in the case of Chile, with the ability to interpret and make appropriate decisions for each context.
Applicant Profile
To enter the program, it is required to have a Bachelor's degree or a Professional Title, whose level, content and duration of studies are equivalent to those necessary to obtain the Bachelor's degree in the corresponding area and that the title is granted by a Higher Education institution recognized by the State.
Graduate profile
Graduates of this program are postgraduate professionals with the capacity to intervene at various levels and sectors of government and public administration, with an emphasis on addressing regional and/or local issues. They possess managerial skills that enable them to lead collaborative work teams and utilize new public management techniques to perform effectively in the design, implementation, and evaluation stages of policies, as well as in the mobilization of resources to achieve objectives that meet emerging public needs, within the framework of the values of participation, transparency, and integrity inherent in a modern public service.
